Philippines May Become TOP ONE WORLDWIDE In COVID-19 Infections Under President Leni Robredo And Vice President Antonio Trillanes IV

 

Some time ago, I decided to write an article where I made fun of the wishful thinking of #OustDuterte. The whole article presented the entrance of Leni Loud Robredo as president and Antonio Trillanes IV as the vice president. Before that, I also wrote a hypothetical scenario of COVID-19 hitting the Philippines under the Roxas-Trillanes administration. Some people are clamoring to #LetLeniLead, Pignoy Ako Blog (PAB) is already calling her as the busy presidente, pasaways are already begging her to lead. Others are even thinking that the best vice president they might have is Trillanes. However, we need to consider a lot of events with both Leni Loud and Trillanes. My personal opinion is that these two may make the Philippines top COVID-19 infections not just in ASEAN but also WORLDWIDE. 

Well, ABiaS-CBN has the tendency to shoot itself at the foot when it tells the real news. This is a really serious issue that Leni Loud herself that the public isn't to blame for the spike in COVID-19. Apparently, she's defending the pasaways. I'm not going to let Mocha Usok and Debold Sinas get a free pass. What I'm doing here is to address the issue that it's a bad case of a double standard. Why are pasaways demanding to hold Usok and Sinas accountable for their mass gatherings when they too are doing mass gatherings?

Rigoberto Tiglao himself is right in blaming both ABiaS-CBN diehard supporters and communists for spike in COVID-19. I wonder if Leni Loud has seen the issue of common sense with COVID-19. Unlike former Taiwanese vice president Chen Chien Jen - she doesn't see the big picture. In fact, I think Chen would probably facepalm or facedesk if he ever talked with Leni Loud about controlling infection. Consider that Chen himelf said that social distancing and good behavior is more effective than mass testing in winning the fight against COVID-19. Leni Loud seems to think otherwise. I guess it's only normal that pasaways like Jover Laurio of PAB just love Leni Loud. Leni Loud's unwillingness to blame pasaways and make rules against them is indeed yet another massive failure of the mind.

Just imagine what if Leni Loud became president last February 25, 2020, during the EDSA anniversary? You can imagine how Leni Loud and Trillanes will conduct themselves. If Leni Loud were president right now - she might just keep giving pasaways a free pass to the point that her shuttle stations to help medical frontliners will become useless. What's the use of giving vehicles for frontliners to use IF she keeps giving pasaways a free pass? Giving pasaways a free pass isn't something former VP Chen of Taiwan would do. Chen is an epidemiologist which gives more weight to his argument. Any good epidemiologist would facepalm or facedesk if they worked with Leni Loud.

Now consider how the valiant vice president Trillanes will handle the issue. Chances are he would deploy the Magdalo to help in the peace and order. Maybe, he would re-assign his friend Gary Alejano to lead the Magdalo troops in the peace and order situation. Chances are that Trillanes himself would request overly lenient treatment of pasaways. Chances are he might actually be overly lenient with some and be extremely harsh on others. The selective treatment that they accuse the military of today may be repeated or even worsened. Chances are the Magdalo may even try to stop the actual military from doing its job in apprehending criminals taking advantage of the pandemic. 

Do you remember how Oakwood and Manila Peninsula were both FAILED military operations? We can consider that communist insurgents will take advantage of the situation. Chances are when there's really an insurgency - Trillanes might want to take over military operations but only to fail. You can imagine how Magdalo may end up hiding in the hotels after an insurgency happens during the pandemic. Chances are there are Magdalo soldiers who will get infected with COVID-19. Hiding in Oakwood Hotel may worsen the spread of germs presumably from infected Magdalo soldiers. 

Worse, you may consider how lack of protocol and discipline may worsen the epidemic. Rather than work hard to keep pasaways at check - maybe Trillanes will play chummy with them. Chances are the Magdalo troops who will just let it slide as to avoid disapproval of the public. If you're an authority then do your job - don't try to please the pasaways. I guess that rule will be overly and quickly forgotten more than one way or another. This in turn will allow the COVID-19 to spread even faster because it's very contagious.
