In A Parliamentary System, BOTH The Uniteam Government And The Kakampink Opposition MUST HAVE SOLUTIONS

I'm amazed at how TOXIC the Pinklawans can get. Right now, some people have been going on as far as to say, "President Bobong Marcos the one in power! He should come up with the solutions!" Oh boy, that's the same statement from different people whether the one in power was former president Rodrigo R. Duterte, the late Noynoy Aquino, Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo, Joseph "Sherap" Estrada, and the late Fidel V. Ramos. The statement shows the severe flaw of the presidential system. It seems to be summarized as, "LEAVE IT ALL TO THE GOVERNMENT."

However, what if we were in a REAL PARLIAMENTARY and not the MOCKERY that Ferdinand E. Marcos Sr. made? Once again, do I need to remind people that even the late Ninoy Aquino had already disproven tha the Marcos Sr. Years weren't a real parliament? If the Marcos Years were a real parliament - the setup of the "parliament" should've similar to the one in real parliamentary countries. Instead, Marcos Sr. arranged it in the same way as Emperor Palpatine made the Imperial Senate. Palpatine could dissolve the Imperial Senate but the Imperial Senate can't dissolve him. That's just plain dictatorship in the guise of a "parliament". Now, let's think about what could go on next.

The results were in as Bobong won BY MAJORITY VOTE. Atty. Leni Loud Robredo herself won the second place. The presidential system is WINNER TAKES ALL. Think that in 2016, Leni Loud took it all. In 2022, Bobong took it all after winning against Leni Loud. However, a parliamentary system would be different for this reason. A parliamentary ssytem will put two sides of the coin on an equal bench. Bobong will be sworn in as the Prime Minister of the Philippine Parliament. Leni Loud will be sworn in as the Opposition Leader of the Philippine Parliament.

Every minister of the government will have a CORRESPONDING shadow minister from the opposition. An illustration above is that Bobong appoints Jose Calida as the Minister of Audit. Meawnhile, Michael Aguinaldo is appointed to become Leni Loud's Shadow Minister of Audit. Aguinaldo has the job to scrutinize Calida. Calida presents the audit to Aguinaldo ON LIVE TELEVISION. Aguinaldo examines the documents and presents his findings. The example of Calida vs. Aguinaldo is just one good example of every minister having a shadow minister. Aguinaldo could point out irregularities if they exist. Calida must defend himself when Aguinaldo does the scrutiny. Aguinaldo gives ratings based on Calida's findings vs. his findings.

Think about it that we've got certain problems like shortage right now. The UNITEAM has its Minister of Agriculture. Kakampink has its Shadow Minister of Agriculture. The topic is to try and solve the shortage crisis. The actual Minister of Agriculture presents his or her plan. The Shadow Minister of Agriculture must not only criticize but PROVIDE ALTERNATIVES. For example, the Minister of Agriculture would want to encourage imports because it's a shortage. The Shadow Minister of Agriculture points out reliable sources of importation. It would be more than just complaining - it's pointing out problems and HAVING FEASIBLE SOLUTIONS.

This is the problem with the Kakampink "Opposition" right now. Again, it wasn't wrong for them to criticize Duterte and now Bobong. If anything, criticism is heavily encouraged in the Parliament but only to improve performance. It would've been something if there was a real DDS vs. Dilawan Parliamentary System. Noynoy could've criticized Duterte HEAD ON in a formal debate. Maybe, Leni Loud could've served either as deputy opposition or any shadow minister position. #OtsoDiretso would have their places as SHADOW MINISTERS. Instead, the decision to stick to the presidential system led to more problems.

What's needed is to stop hoping for a "perfect leader". What's needed is to shift to the parliamentary system. It would be interesting if Bobong and Leni Loud faced each other every week on LIVE TELEVISION. It would be embarrassing if Bobong keeps having no solutions. Leni Loud may even prove herself better. Maybe, Sara Duterte-Carpio could easily replace Bobong if the latter gets kicked out by a vote of no confidence. I don't care even if the Liberal Party reigns again - as long as it's under a LEGITIMATE PARLIAMENTARY SYSTEM.
