Atty. Leni Loud Robredo The Elitista?

I remembered the time when former vice president, Atty. Leni Loud Robredo, proved that she was indeed LOUD. The statement from Leni Loud concerning her new post in Harvard (a very hard school to enter to). Okay, congratulations to Leni Loud for her daughters' achievements and her latest appointment in the Harvard Fellowship. I don't want to believe that it was caused by her open ally, Loida Nicolas-Lewis, that she got there. Both Leni Loud and Loida are Bicolanas, lawyers, and widows. I guess those three things may have allowed them to relate to each other. 

What Leni Loud should be doing right now is IGNORE... THE... TROLLS. That's unless of course you realize that Jover Laurio (whom she served as a sponsor for the wedding) has been a paid hack by the now-ailing Kris Aquino. What ticked me off is when Leni Loud started to mention Ateneo and Harvard. Is Leni Loud suggesting that those who didn't graduate from the University of the Philippines (UP), Ateneo, and Harvard are idiots? Hmmm... I wonder if Leni Loud was romanticizing Love Story in Harvard back when she wasn't so well-known? If Leni Loud has the merits then she has the merits. However, she didn't have to address her haters at all. She could've just accepted it, made a good speech, IGNORED her haters, and simply said, "I may still have something to do. You can hate me but I'll do what I'll have to do." 

Some "thought leader" supporters for Leni Loud even say it's a waste. They keep defending her because of her recognition at Ateneo, UP, and now Harvard. They still bash Bobong Marcos for not graduating from Oxford. However, did they note that Erap Estrada himself was also a dropout from Ateneo? A sad fact that some people did graduate from UP but are doing more harm than good. These people are the likes of Sarah Jane I. Elgago and Siraulo Manuel - both from Kayabangan Partylist. I still believe UP needs a SERIOUS CLEAN UP from commie activists inside it. Students who keep walking out to join rallies should no longer be considered iskolars ng bayan. Worse, I even heard Ateneo awarded the shoddy work of Jover namely Pignoy Ako Blog. That move alone by Ateneo makes me wonder if the school has lost all common sense. 

This is also the problem with the presidential system. Everything got so focused on Bobong, Leni Loud, Bobong again cycle. Under a parliamentary system - UNITEAM and Kakampinks would not be a winner takes all scenario. First case scenario is that UNITEAM wins and Bobong becomes the prime minister. However, Leni Loud getting the second largest votes gets the second place winner prize - the work of the opposition leader. Leni Loud will have all her teammates like Kikoman Pangilinan. Teddy the Dancer Baguilat, Franklin Drilon, Antonio Trillanes IV, Richard Gordon, Liela Dilemma, etc. on board. Leni Loud will have her shadow cabinet. Right now, a parliamentary system will have Leni Loud lead the opposition. The opposition will question the government and hold it accountable.

If anything, Leni Loud should've been more focused on reforms. It's quite upsetting that we don't have the UNITEAM vs. Kakampink formal debates every week. Bobong must uphold the confidence of the Parliament or face a motion of no confidence. Leni Loud must also provide alternatives and not just question the government. Hopefully, Leni Loud will see the need for constitutional reform if she wishes to remain relevant again.
