Why is the #KathNiel bandwagon well... broken? Teleseryes are now a dying trend. There's a Kathniel movie on Netflix but it did make it to the top ten? Some teleseryes by ABiaS-CBN and GMA-7 are now on Netflix but did any of them make it to the top ten? I bet there are more people watching Gu Family Book than La Luna Sangre. I bet there are more people watching Kingdom: Eternal Monarch than there are rewatching those teleseryes. If teleseryes are a dying trend then the #KathNiel loveteam is already heading towards the wrong direction. It's really insanity that they have lost even with #KathNiel then what makes them think that the same BROKEN platform will let them win last 2019 and 2022?
Jover Laurio even dares to brag about the united power of #KathNiel fans because it has 10.2 million followers. However, people can open multiple Twitter accounts, right? However, some of the followers may actually have either failed to unfollow or may not be necessarily fans of the two. Sometimes, some people just follow a page to get updated on somebody's stupidity. It's like somebody would follow Pinoy Ako Blog not to support Jover but to keep an eye on her stupidity. I even wonder if the 10.2 million followers are truly #KathNiel fans. I wonder why didn't Mar won in spite of the #KathNiel endorsement he had. 10.2 million followers could've made a difference so why didn't he or any member of #OtsoDiretso win even during the 2019 senatorial election?
What the Liberal Party needs to do to remain relevant is to stop with their antics. The problem with them is not that they criticize President Rodrigo R. Duterte - it's their failure to give useful alternatives. I'm not saying Leni Loud should just STFU. The problem is Leni Loud should either give constructive criticism or STFU if she has nothing useful to say. #OtsoDiretso dared Duterte to ride his jetski to China when their beloved Noynoy was scheduled to be ran over by a train. True, they need to criticize Duterte for some inactions but the childishness ruined their platform. If they went to Marawi to see the slow progress in rehabilitation - they should've given their alternatives on how to get it fixed. It wasn't wrong for them to go to Marawi. What's wrong is that they failed to give their alternatives to do what the president couldn't do. Criticizing Duterte is a must but it must be met with constructive advice. Unfortunately, the presidential opposition is hardly formalized. Sadly, they never saw how the parliamentary system could've given them a voice today since they're currently on the minority floor. Maybe, Angat Buhay by Leni Loud would be the Opposition's main vehicle for assisting others. In fact, I think Angat Buhay should serve as competition against the PDP-Laban's relief platform so both sides will be on their toes.
Driving on #KathNiel is like driving a vehicle that's gone obsolete. It's like driving the Flintstone's car when it's already 2020. It's like still driving an old fashioned carrier vehicle when there's the more effective L300. I doubt it any automobile company would fix those cars because they have become obsolete. The Dilawans need to dispose of the #KathNiel vehicle ASAP. Why not resume Bum Aquino's Go Negosyo platform that actually got him to win way back when he was still running for senator? Throwing away Go Negosyo by Bum in exchange for #KathNiel is like throwing away a good Toyota car in exchange for a Flintstone's car. Riding on #KathNiel is really nothing more than driving a broken car that won't let them reach their destination.
