An Open Letter To Leah Navarro: There's NOTHING Wrong With Being Seen Off By Kitchen Staff And Under Officials!

It's really obvious that you have thrown out your common sense out of the window for the nth time. Do you remember the time when you whined about President Duterte not attending the flag-raising ceremony as if it were more important than leading the Marawi operations? I guess you would still badmouth him if he decided to attend the flag-raising and say that Noynoy Aquino went to Zamboanga to head ops. This latest criticism by you is really that stupid. You say that the world has been brought low because President Duterte (who has some back pains as of late) was seen off by kitchen staff and under-officials.

I don't see anything shameful with President Duterte or just ANYONE being seen off by kitchen staff and under-officials. Is it me or are you really that mata-pobre or elitist mentality? It's one to be pro-elite but another to be an elitist. An elitist is defined by the Merriam-Webster dictionary as, " one whose attitudes and beliefs are biased in favor of a socially elite class of people." or "regarding other people as inferior because they lack power, wealth, or status." I wonder do you think being seen off by hotel staff and under-officials is disgraceful? If that's so then you're being a hypocrite when you wrote in the parenthesis "with due respect to them" in your tweet. How can you be "giving respect" to them if you think it's shameful for President Duterte to be seen off by them? It's your hypocrisy at its finest. Worse, you refuse to even be respectful of the position held by the incumbent president. Favoritism much huh Leah?

If it's so shameful then here's what. You should avoid eating in restaurants and going to hotels already if it's shameful to be seen off by kitchen staff. I actually think it's an honor to be seen off by kitchen staff. The kitchen staff was thankful for President Duterte's visit to them. Do you even know Japanese value menial labor? The problem with Filipino society is the tendency to belittle menial labor. Are you among those people? If the Hotel and Restaurant Management (HRM) course is that easy and belittling then why is it offered in college? Why do these departments reject anyone who doesn't have good English proficiency? Do you know chefs may eventually get paid big due to the daunting nature of their work? However, without kitchen staff then engineers have become useless. They will keep building hotels and restaurants which will be nothing more than empty shells without HRM graduates. Not to mention, your beloved Noynoy had no problem mingling with kitchen staff either. So why aren't you ashamed of Noynoy who mingled with kitchen staff and he was greeted by them? Don't tell me they didn't even see him off after he visited them?

Ironic how you praise Mar Roxas to be your candidate more than once (and he was seen doing MENIAL LABOR) who wasn't even sent off by kitchen staff and under officials during his campaign period. Maybe, you are just jealous that Mar never got that kind of send-off nor did #OtsoDiretso during the campaign period. Hmmm... speaking of which do you remember who purchased Smartmatic and who appointed those people in the COMELEC In the first place?

Gets mo Leah or are you too blind with your Yellow fanaticism to understand other points of view?
