If All Else Fails For #TindigPilipinas Then Why Not Try Another Coup?

The problem with the current opposition is that rather than focus on helping the current government improve its performance -- it's more focused on getting rid of it. The charges currently pressed against President Rodrigo R. Duterte are usually baseless and based on gossip. It's time to think about how everything is failing. Did anyone from #OtsoDiretso win? Not even one member of #OtsoDiretso won because they failed to give relevant alternatives to how the current administration should do its job. Now, not everyone in the opposition is guilty of destabilization. But let's talk about members of the opposition who unfortunately are too obsessed with derailing President Duterte or anyone not on their side.

I just read through Get Real Philippines' (GRP) latest post about having a good old people power. While I don't agree with everything GRP (especially on sensitive issues) says but I think the whole Yellowtard people power might just work. If anything, the whole process of filing for impeachment against President Duterte may be considered as suicidal. Not only did they fail to get their desire of #OtsoDiretsoSaSenado but they also ended up in another mess now. If they can't even get the MAJORITY of the legislators in their side then how can they succeed in the impeachment? If all else fails then having another coup would be the best "solution" to their problems.

Why stage a coup? Remember that there are times when all else fails then it's time to use force. That could be their best "solution". If they can't file an impeachment complaint because nobody from #OtsoDiretso (not even Gary Alejano) won then electoral race. The "solution" may be to reinstate the Oakwood Mutiny or the Manila Peninsula Siege. Maybe, they can repeat the whole Plaza Miranda bombing incident which was done during the Marcos Years. I could imagine this one being led by none other than President Duterte's number one hater namely Antonio F. Trillanes IV. He may even consider leading a coup since he now almost has no allies in the government. Chances are this coup is destined to fail because they are unprepared. Not only are their numbers dwindling but chances are the military may catch them unprepared.

Then we can also imagine the possibility of planning another EDSA when it's not yet February 2020. Let's say Trillanes dies a "hero" and maybe they may consider making his wife Arlene the next grieving widow. They may want to launch another EDSA but chances are it won't work well anymore. All the same drama such as playing the victim is no longer working. Chances are they will need to pay people to join EDSA. But can they fill EDSA like the People Power back in 1986? Chances are it wouldn't be because people are getting tired of their stupidity. They would probably starve to death at EDSA or even get arrested for public disturbance.
