Chel Diokno Would Rather Open The Philippines To Foreign Pressure Than Foreign Investment?

It's better to tag #OtsoDiretso to #OtsoDiretsoSaImpiyerno, right? Chel Diokno now wants more international pressure to be applied to the Philippines. Here's what CRappler has to say about his statement:

MANILA, Philippines – Otso Diretso senatorial candidate Chel Diokno took time off the campaign trail to amplify his human rights advocacy to an international audience on Thursday evening, March 21.

Diokno, a human rights lawyer, spoke at an event which was part of a United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) meeting in Vienna through a video conference, calling for continuing "international pressure" on President Rodrigo Duterte and his administration.

"The government claims that it doesn't really care about international pressure. We do believe that international pressure has been very helpful in terms of highlighting what's happening in the country, and, to some extent, influencing the way government operates," Diokno said in a pre-recorded video, addressing drug scholars and experts.

He added: "We do hope that the international community will continue to put pressure on the Philippine government to adhere to its commitments under international human rights instruments."

I don't have anything against people both Filipino and foreign giving their criticisms towards any administration but make sure said criticism is valid. This is the problem with Diokno himself -- he seems to be rather more open to foreign pressure on President Duterte and his administration. But what about foreign investors? This is the problem where he seems to want to turn the Philippines into a bullied state by organizations such as the International Clown Court, European Union or just any liberal retard organizations from abroad.

This is the problem of the Liberal Party -- they would rather invest to get foreign intervention rather than foreign investment. What Diokno is doing is truly dangerous for this reason -- the Philippines is a sovereign state like every other sovereign state. It would also be nice to ask him the question that if the whole world believes the Dilawan then why maintain economic protectionism? Well the answer can be summarized that the Yellows and Reds aren't really nationalistic -- they just care about their interests. They have lost relevance among Filipinos so they need to import their allies. Now he's blown off his own so-called nationalism and proves that #OtsoDirestso has lost its relevance.

He's a human rights lawyer so he should really consider this one. Isn't it the basic right of human beings to have give and take? If Filipinos expect to do business abroad then shouldn't they also allow foreigners to do business in the Philippines? Hmmmm think about that!
