Is Agot Isidro Asking Filipinos To Ignore Basic Mathematics?

Agot Isidro says that, "A kilo of rice is now lesser because of the prices of goods are higher." Then she says, "When I'm a senator, the first law I'll make is to increase the kilo of rice." This is just stupid. Let's do some basic mathematics, shall we? How much is one kilogram? It's worth 1,000 grams and it will always weigh that much because Mathematics will always be based and built on facts! I wonder how did she even pass College when you still need to review some of your basic Math subjects like Algebra and Business Math.

This is the problem of the Liberal Party. Common sense is really thrown out of the window. It's unbelievable how Bum Aquino who's supposedly celebrated as a brilliant entrepreneur ended up suggesting the leftovers law. Mar Roxas is a Wharton Graduate and yet he kept making a fool out of himself ever since he joined the Liberal Party. Agot is supposedly a Cum Laude from the University of the Philippines yet she ends up suggesting that she could alter the properties of Mathematics and Economics with what she just said about a kilo of rice. What's next? Is she going to try and defy the laws of supply and demand? Is she even going to go as far as to justify that 40 x 4 is 1,600 when it's always going to be 160?

Besides, there's one thing that invalidates her -- it's not her status as an actress but the fact that she doesn't do research and it's her argument that should go against her. Aga Muhlach may be a celebrity but he's making a lot of sense such as when he criticized Antonio Trillanes IV's idiocy. Besides, she's also proof how a lack of knowledge in basic economics is not a good thing. She should do research first before she criticizes President Duterte. While people do have the right to criticize the president but make sure that your criticism is valid first!
