It's amazing how social media can be so FULL OF STUPID PEOPLE, right? What's the use of the Pinklawans ranting when their complaints are nothing more than aired opinions? That's why I decided to write about how the Kakampink Opposition can truly hold the Uniteam Government in a PARLIAMENTARY SYSTEM. It's good that the Kakampinks are pointing out a few things or it's good to criticize a SONA. However, the presidential system lacks that mechanism - something the Pinklawans' could've had BUT don't have right now. It's because the Philippines is still under a PRESIDENTIAL SYSTEM.

The prime minister makes a speech with the Opposition PRESENT. Can you imagine that if the SONA today had Atty. Leni Loud Robredo and her fellow Angat Buhay members sitting on the RIGHT BENCH? If we were a parliamentary system right now - think that June 30, 2022, would be the time when Bobong Marcos and Sara Duterte-Carpio will be installed as the leaders of the Philippine Government. Meanwhile, Leni Loud and Kikoman Pangilinan will be installed as the leaders of the Philippine Opposition. Their cabinet will be defined by a minister for a respective field. For example, Jose Calida will be the Minister of Audit while Michael Aguinaldo will be the Shadow Minister of Audit. Calida presents his audit then Aguinaldo will go down to the specifics to find any flaws in the former's audit. Aguinaldo, being a Liberal Party stalwart, should serve as the Liberal Party's auditor instead.
Just imagine it if Bobong makes his speech while Leni Loud and her fellow Opposition members LISTEN TO IT. Now, the flow of the conversation has Bobong make his 7.5 minutes speech then Leni Loud begins to answer in exchange. The flow would go from Leni Loud to Sara then from Sara to Kikoman. Each appointee of Bobong will have a corresponding counterpart to each appointee of Leni Loud. Angat Buhay won't become an NGO. Instead, Angat Buhay represents the people who voted for THEM. If Leni Loud is serious about this and that - she now has the duty to question Bobong and HOLD HIM ACCOUNTABLE. The whole Opposition has the responsibility to question the government, hold it accountable, and present alternatives.
Once again, the big failure of the Pinklawans wasn't seeing that a parliamentary system would've made them hold Bobong accountable today. Bobong himself would either have to (1) uphold the confidence of the legislative, or (2) get a vote of no confidence raised against him by Leni Loud. Leni Loud could call for a vote of no confidence if ever Bobong ends up not answering properly. Instead, their continual defense of Da Best Konstitusyon in Da World became their incredibly massive failure of the mind.
