Does ABiaS-CBN Think That The Americanized Versions Of Japanese Shows Are Always "Better"?

Is it me or is ABiaS-CBN really that is biased with why they air the Americanized versions of Japanese shows while ignoring the source material? I remembered watching the now-defunct Hero TV and guess what? They were airing Power Rangers as a JAPANESE SHOW when it isn't. Clarification -- Power Rangers is a localization based on a JAPANESE TV SHOW which doesn't make it a Japanese TV show. I may acknowledge that Toei Ltd. gave Saban, Disney, or currently Hasbro the legal permission to use the fight footage but that doesn't make it a Japanese show. Note, Toei ultimately OWNS Power Rangers and not just the American side of the fence! If it wasn't for Super Sentai then you wouldn't have Power Rangers, now would you? 

I remembered having been in elementary school when ABiaS-CBN itself showed Mighty Morphin'. I have to confess that I was at first, fascinated by the show. However, the more I discovered about Super Sentai -- the more I discovered what have I missed. The gamble for Power Rangers became so successful that sadly, ABiaS-CBN decided to focus its energy on Power Rangers. Just where do I begin with the whole stupidity that resulted in the Mighty Morphine overdose? Hmmm, maybe I could also blame the abundance of American media in Philippine media too?

What I noticed is that ABiaS-CBN tends to favor the Americanized versions of Japanese shows A LOT. It's not just Power Rangers. We saw Lion Voltron and Vehicle Voltron but not Golion and Dairugger XV (which weren't popular in Japan) -- so why can't we judge for ourselves? By not airing Super Sentai or any of the Japanese originals as well -- audiences can't compare the differences if it wasn't for the Internet! Like WTF really. Sometimes, the very idea that ABiaS-CBN may get its contract revoked is almost like me saying, "Super Sentai is getting vindicated by time eventually!" Well, ABiaS-CBN has had it coming for years now with their biases. Did they forget that we're already in the digital age and that there are many choices now? Sorry ABiaS-CBN but NO ONE has the right to a monopoly of the digital age!

Is the network still relying on the now really declining franchise known as Power Rangers to save it? They can forget about it because Power Rangers is already getting worse that even some longtime fans have left it. Disney did it haphazardly with rushed seasons and Nickelodeon is now making that unnecessary split. Why I left Power Rangers (eventually) was because of just how sloppy management has become. I guess more and more people are now seeing how it's not getting better. Why would I have to wait for an ENTIRE SUMMER before the next set of episodes? Ryusoulger is making summer episodes but what about Beast Morphers? I have to wait until fall before the next set of episodes. The worse part is that it'd be a two-year run which is just WTF stupid. Aren't there also other shows aside from Power Rangers to air? This might be another reason why they might get their demise even if their license will be renewed should the Philippine Congress have a change of heart.

As said, most American shows are just going downhill so why is ABiaS-CBN still prone to bootlicking the U.S.? Are they ignoring that this is no longer the 90s? Let's just face it the U.S. of A is no longer as great as it used to be. GET OVER IT!
