Mar Roxas has shown signs of stubbornness and willful stupidity in spite of his once impressive academic track record. It shows that money can buy you an education (even if you didn't bribe the officials and you studied hard for it) but it can never buy you common sense. Just a note -- he didn't drink rice from a plate (it was obviously edited) and he added rice to a mug which contained some vegetable soup. Let's just stick to the facts first as we prepare to crucify Roxas! I'm not talking about literally nailing him to a cross. Rather, crucify here is used as a word to severely criticize him.
Roxas himself should have avoided saying any unnecessary comments when talking to Tacloban Mayor Alfred Romualdez after the Yolanda incident. I really facedesked at what he did. Also, with the whole Yolanda expired relief goods -- how can that be called as efficient rescue? I guess that highly educated but very stupid (due to his lack of common sense) 4Ps-obsessed old man who said it was must be eating expired food for nourishment. But not only that -- he has only further irritated people with his epal tactics.
If there's anything else worth roasting him about -- it's about how he flip-flopped. Imagine, he once had a promising career when he was still the Department of Trade and Industry secretary in 2000. He once pushed to remove 60/40 and understood the excessive restrictions. But he flip-flopped when 2015 arrived -- choosing to adhere to the old constitution than the need for a newer, better and more updated one. He simply ended up throwing away his brain, his degree in economics especially when he wanted to put farmers in the 4Ps program.
All the events above make you wonder what happened to his once brilliant mind. He really deserves all the criticism that's coming to him!
