Would You Vote For Agot Isidro As Senator This 2019?

Here's the latest news from the Liberal Party - they are eyeing the possibility of an Agot Isidro 2019 Senate slate. How stupid can they get? This isn't surprising considering that almost every party has had Senatorial bids from people who know absolutely NOTHING about politics or how to run the country. Do you remember some former Senators and Senators today who are voted in because of their POPULARITY than their CREDIBILITY because that's how the presidential system runs?

Let's consider a list of former politicians and incumbent ones who won because of popularity. Do you remember the time when Joseph Ejercito became president? Do you remember others like Robert Jaworski who went from the basketball court to the Senate? Do you even care to think why Manny Pacquiao, Bum Aquino, Tito Sotto, Loren Legarda, Jinggoy Ejercito, Ramon Bong Revilla Jr. and Lito Lapid all made it into the Senate? It's because of their popularity. I guess the Liberal Party is considering that they could use Agot for this reason - she was once a well-known actress in the past. It's stupid to criticize Mocha Uson while supporting Agot considering that both of them have ZERO qualifications to run for Senate.

I don't deny that I used to watch Ok Doki Doc and I admired her in her earlier days. Today, I just find her repulsive. It's just like how I used to enjoy listening to Leah Navarro's songs but today I find said singer repulsive. The problem right now is that trying to let Agot run is really a wildcard and an extremely dangerous stunt for the reason that Agot knows NOTHING about laws. Plus, this is already all about playing the "strong women against Duterte" or the woman card where gender is irrelevant in one's stand in politics. No, those women that got axed by President Duterte aren't getting axed because of their gender. They are getting axed like every other man who's been guilty of grievous offenses while in office.

Also, trying to use women like Agot as a "strong woman" is an insult to real strong women everywhere. She's nowhere near the late Miriam Defensor Santiago who's the Iron Lady of Asia or Atty. Persida V. Rueda-Acosta to name a few. Besides, what does she even know about making and passing laws in the legislative body of the Philippines?
