Media Democracy May Be Completely Dead Today Under The Marbobo-Leni Loud Administration

I remembered writing a couple of posts against Marbobo Roxas and Antonio Trillanes as president and vice president. Now it's time to consider how freedom of press could have died would have both Marbobo and Leni Loud Robredo be president and vice president right now. I still remember how Manang Loida said that only they have the capacity and ability to lead the nation. It's time to consider how freedom of press may be deader than dead.

Okay, I agree the Marcos Years had many nonsense policies on the press. Those who passed through and survived martial law can testify to how the TV was "sanitized" during those years. Yet what's the guarantee that both Marbobo and Leni Loud would defend freedom of press? Right now, the Dilawans who control Facebook Philippines and other Filipino branches of foreign companies are misusing their positions to battle pro-Duterte bloggers as well as anyone who goes against them. It's all about a power struggle and not a fight for democracy.

Chances are any Internet platforms that would speak against the Dilawans will be silenced. Do you remember the anti-cybercrime law's libel clause? They may end up approving of it so they could use it against people who speak against them. You may end up seeing We Are Collective (though the whole expose on Jesse Robredo is still under question), Get Real Philippines and CoRRECT Philippines taken down for their anti-Yellow sentiments and badmouthing the defects of the 1987 Constitution by showing the need for badly needed reforms for a better Philippines. 

You may also see how television, theaters and newspapers will be censored by these two. You may want to say goodbye to J-Drama, Koreanovela, Taiwanovelas, etc. because chances are they may approve laws against them. You may even see it that they may even make it mandatory to air stupid teleseryes. Maybe, you may even be forced to watch them or be considered "anti-Filipino" and a traitor to your own people. You may end up seeing any opinion against the Liberal Party will be charged as not only libelous but also treasonous.  Movie houses may still exist but there may be nothing more than Filipino films showing regardless of quality. They may only allow a few foreign movies and series to keep their media running but crappy Failipino media will be given top quality.

I guess PNoytards still can't accept it that Marbobo didn't win. Is it me or is it becoming clearer that Leni Loud was installed as Plan B because Marbobo lost? It's more than time to RECOUNT right now. Don't wait. Oh, should Leni Loud still win the protest fair and square then it's time to IMPEACH her from her seat. What has Leni Loud done anyway except do more nonsense? The Liberal Party will try to hold on to whatever power they have left but one good question now is, "How much money do they have left anyway?"
