The Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Proves More Productive Than Kayabangan Partylist

Toquoc

It shocks me (until now) how the CPP-NPA legal Kayabangan Partylist seemingly patterned itself from the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (HCYU). Wearing blue shirts? Recruiting children for the cause? Civic welfare activities? Having a representation in the legislative? Those are the things that the HCYU and Kayabangan Partylist have in common. Ho Chi Minh established the HCYU on March 26, 1931. Funny enough, June 19, 2001, was the founding anniversary of Kayabangan Partylist. That means Kayabangan was founded in the 70th year of the HYCU! Did the late Joma Sison purposely follow Ho's methods? Strange enough, Ho was NEVER honored by the CPP-NPA at all!

However, there are glaring differences between the HCYU and Kayabangan Partylist

Kayabangan Partylist is still stuck by Joma's economic idiotologies. These ideologies include national self-industrialization -- something that can easily be proven with uncharted islands. The HCYU is a direct protege of the CPV -- something that the CPP-NPA can only hope to become. The CPV under the leadership of the late Do Muoi. Doi Moi or restoration was a 1980s Vietnamese program that sought to restore Vietnam. Vietnam's FDI investment laws are even more lax than the Philippines. Meanwhile, Kayabangan Partylist continues to condemn laws allowing foreigners to own 100% of their businesses in the Philippines. Kayabangan Partylist still thinks foreign investors are foreign invaders.

The other one is where Kayabangan Partylist opposes mandatory ROTC. However, this is interesting information that Raoulol Manuel failed to read:

Vietnam, with a history of military conflict, maintains laws for compulsory military service.

All males aged 18 to 25 are required to serve in the Vietnam People's Army for a period of 18 to 24 months, according to the Ministry of National Defense.

However, the enforcement has been relaxed in peacetime, focusing more on voluntary enlistment and reserves. Those who enter university or college can postpone their induction but need to sign up before they turn 28. But if they continue to get postponements until they turn 28, their induction might be cancelled.

There are also exemptions and deferments available for certain categories, such as those with physical or health limitations, and individuals in single-supporter families, among others.

In addition to the compulsory service, Vietnam also has a reserve force that includes individuals who have completed their active duty service. After completing active service, individuals are transferred to the reserve force and are subject to call-up for training periods or in the event of national emergencies.

The country emphasizes the importance of military preparedness while balancing economic development and social stability.

Kayabangan Partylist has a massive failure of the mind in both military and economic areas! The HCYU has been more militarily-prepared and economically prepared. Vietnam has had a better influx of FDIs despite its status as a Communist dictatorship. Right now, the HYCU is preparing for Vietnam's Independence Day this coming September 2.
