The Irony Filipino Communists Reject ROTC When Communist Countries Require Mandatory Military Service
It's been the same mantra of Filipino communists DAY IN AND DAY OUT, "NO TO ROTC!" ROTC means Reserved Officers' Training Corps. I remembered some people complained about ROTC. Others did point out how ROTC was nothing more than just walking with rifles rather than actual military conscription like in South Korea. We have Filipino communists WHINING DAY IN AND DAY OUT about mandatory military training. Many of the CPP-NPA legal fronts like Kayabangan Partylist, Alliance of Complaining Teachers, Lazy Filipino Students, Bayad Muna, Gagabriela, etc. are all whining like little children. What's truly ironic is that Filipino commies have been rejecting military training. It's because COMMUNIST COUNTRIES are really BUILDING UP THEIR MILITARY.
One just needs to take a look at the leaders that one admire. One of them is none other than China's Boy Sisi, Mao Zedong. I wonder if Mao should've written a book called The Art of Blame: How to Escape Responsibility because he was VERY FOND of blaming others. What's even more amazing is that one can even order on Amazon his book on Guerilla Warfare. Mao was greatly influenced by the Chinese strategist Sun Tzu. Mao would be more respectable than the late Joma Sison. Mao started an army in the mountains and TOOK OVER CHINA. Meanwhile, Joma lived in exile and died in the Netherlands. It'd make more sense if Joma lived in exile in Beijing, have Xi Jinping near his bedside, and have his body transported from Beijing to the Philippines. Joma can't be considered a great communist. Mao may have bungled up China later. However, none can challenge the fact that Mao was indeed a military genius. I even find it funny that CPP-NPA legal fronts are honoring Joma as a hero. If I were a communist - I'd probably laugh off Joma as a hero and honor Mao instead.
Communist countries (failed or not) require military training. One can talk about North Korea's CRUMBLING MILITARY. Meanwhile, China (a nation they IRONICALLY hate so much) has been building its power. Vietnam is also ranking high in military strength. China and Vietnam are two military forces not worth irritating. Right now, it seems a lot of spoiled brats in China are getting a rude awakening when the government recruits the youth. Seriously, why doesn't Kabataan Partylist just go to China and do their youth recruitment there? Why don't the likes of Sarah Jane Elgago and Raoulol Manuel pledge their allegiance to the Chinese Communist Party (CCP)?! Vietnam also has compulsory military service as well.
I wonder how the CCP and the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) will ever react to Filipino communists' anti-military training stance. I could imagine the utter stupidity that might be there. I'd imagine that the CCP and the CPV may hold a banquet and mock them. Even more, the CCP and CPV are now allowing free markets into their communist states. Deng Xiaoping even formulated Socialism with Chinese Characteristics - something I dub Communism with Chinese Characteristics. The late Nguyen Duy Cong or Do Muoi saw the beauty of free markets. Vietnam is now becoming a massive communist force as we so speak! Even more ironic is that Filipino communists HATE CHINA. The CPP-NPA could've won its war years ago IF the party allied with China. Instead, they blatantly failed to create a proper ally. One of Sun Tzu's strategies is to have the right allies. Mao also knew about having the right allies as well.
That's why Sisonism failed as an idiotology. Maoism failed because of poor economics. Yet, somehow Deng managed to modify Maoism and introduced Dengism. If those guys knew military secrets so well - they'd achieve what Mao achieved. Mao was one who used idealism to his own advantage. Mao was able to secure power and died in power. Meanwhile, Sison died without real power in the Netherlands. How can the Filipino communists even hope to be relevant if they themselves are afraid of military training?
