So You Want To Fight China While You Refuse To Have Serious Military Training And Upgrades?

It's very stupid that there are some Filipinos who claim to be more "manly" than other nationalities would oppose the idea of mandatory military service. There's even some of them who keep calling K-Pop guys as "faggots" while the latter have their mandatory military training. Now, a certain group of Filipinos may play the overconfidence game where they think that they are in fact the "most powerful race in the world". I even remembered somebody even bragged that his adherence to Penoy Prayd is enough to make the Philippines survive an invasion. That is very misguided thinking. If there's any reason why Filipino soldiers once won the Battle of Yuldong -- it was because they were well-prepared and well-equipped while China's military at that time was the exact opposite.

I decided to check China's military training videos on Youtube. I admit those guys (and girls) are in fact, well-prepared for any battle. It's no wonder why the Chinese military now has their confidence as they violate the sovereignty rights of their neighboring Asian countries. They have the latest equipment and military training. How often have Filipino soldiers been trained that way? How advanced is the equipment in the Philippines? Those questions have me saying that the Philippines really needs two things to defend itself. First, it really needs an upgrade in military equipment. Second, it needs to have really tough military training that will man up Filipinos rather than have them brag about how manly they are but cower in the face of a real challenge. It's just like a bully who's only confident with his peers around but cowers when he's faced with a one-on-one challenge with a real fighter. Worse, how can they claim to be manly when they even don't want to pass through military training?

The Philippines can get more income for military upgrades through economic liberalization. While foreign investments aren't the only way to create more jobs because there are Filipino businessmen but competition will man up Filipinos. One of the many reasons why many Filipinos are only manly by their claim but not by action is because of a lack of competition. Expose them to competition and they will start to really toughen up. Nobody is ever made tough in a comfort zone. It's like Filipino-owned businesses usually remain mediocre because there's hardly any competition due to economic protectionism. If the loser mindset is removed then just think of how Filipinos will improve. A competitive mindset is really needed for Filipinos. But it can only happen if there's a system that encourages healthy competition which is why Filipinos who stay long in competitive countries become competitive themselves. This income is collected through taxing all registered businesses (and tax reform's lowering of tax rates to fair levels should be done) which part of this budget is used to upgrade the military.

The training also needs to be toughened up. Try to check out Taiwan's and South Korea's military training videos for an example. The Philippines can be allied with countries affected by the Chinese government's bullying. Just imagine if Filipino military trainees can learn to toughen up by imitating the military training standards of these countries. They need to really stop their whiny attitude and have the attitude, "I'm a Filipino and if the Taiwanese and South Korean can do it -- SO CAN I!" as they proceed with their military training. This would also require serious coordination. Filipino military authorities can learn several new stuff from Taiwanese and South Korean military authorities then implement it here in the Philippines. Not to mention that Sun Tzu's Art of War can be applied by anyone. It's not meant to be just used by the Chinese. Filipinos who can learn to apply the Art of War can minimize their losses and maximize their wins.

So what are you waiting for? We should upgrade the Chinese military and toughen up our military training!
