Don't Tell Me That Trillanes' Failed Mutinies Aren't Atrocities Committed By Government Agents?

The "filming" of A Dangerous Life 2 is still continuing, isn't it? I decided to write another short that would condemn the idiocy of those who claim to stand by the Commission of Human Rights (CHR) when they are only standing by idiots like Chito Gascon. It's more than time to really consider throwing Gascon's own statements at him. If he really said that the CHR is only tasked to investigate atrocities done by state agents (which is a lie) then let's throw his own faulty argument back at him. Don't tell me that Antonio Trillanes IV's two failed mutinies where he led Filipino soldiers to destroy a civilian government were not acts of atrocities done by GOVERNMENT AGENTS?

It's amazing how Gascon loves to use the excuse that his job as CHR Chairperson is to only investigate atrocities done by government agents. Yet how many cases did he end up left in pending status? A good example is how he refuses to even participate in the investigation of the Dengvaxia fiasco which was caused by government agents. Now, instead of defending the rights of people who were hurt or the endangered public during the Manila Peninsula Siege and the Oakwood Mutiny -- he ends up defending Antonio Trillanes IV instead of condemning the latter for endangering human rights! Not only has Gascon ignored the first rule of the CHR which is to investigate all human rights violation -- he has also failed to fulfill his bogus statement that CHR only deals with government agents while he ignores Trillanes is a government agent who's violated the law himself.

Gascon himself shouldn't even be in the CHR in the first place for this reason -- he doesn't do his job properly. He's even more concerned about criminal rights than the rights of the victims. It's just like how Etta Rosales desperately pleaded with President Rodrigo R. Duterte to "respect" druglords. He like Rosales has wrong priorities. Why prioritize how the Abu Sayyaf were killed over the human rights of the Abu Sayyaf that were killed? Again, isn't CHR supposed to be a check and balance organization concerning the rights of citizens to life in a safe and secure society?

Gascon can do everyone a favor, resign from CHR and serve as Trillanes' legal counsel. Trillanes should face trial for the two major incidents where he recklessly put civilian lives in direct danger of his arrogance and ruthlessness. It'd be interesting to see Gascon use his lawyering skills to get Trillanes out of a pickle. He would end up proving even more why he shouldn't even work at the CHR to start with.
