It's time to consider the audacity of Chief Justice Maria Lourdes Sereno and her refusal to resign as she herself said it. CRappler which is siding on the Yellows has even publicized and verified the statement that she will not resign. It's now time to consider the reality of CRappler's involvement with CJ Sereno's decision.
With the Red Monday Protests, here's what ABiaS-CBN reports as CJ Sereno camp now allege that court employees were pressured to do what they did:
Some court employees were previously pressured to wear red as part of a protest against Sereno without anyone explaining to them what it signified, said the top magistrate's spokesperson Atty. Josalee Deinla.
(Many of the employees are afraid and experiencing intimidation and pressure. We hope they could explain how they were asked to air their sentiments through that manifesto.)
In truth, this is where the line is drawn. Renato Corona who died a few years ago resigned. In the case of CJ Sereno there's now her undeclared Statement of Assets, Liabilities and Net Worth or SALN. She may have had other pending cases. She has a very thick face while she has very thin skin at the same time. This would be something worth thinking about with someone who's very "well loved" by many Filipinos.
