Did Boracay Magically Became "Chinatown" In Just Six Months During The Temporary Closure?

It's amazing how "intelligent" Jover Laurio can really be. I didn't want to immediately write this common sense post as an indirect reply to her blog post where she compared Boracay to Chinatown. The stupidity is so amazing and here's a bit of stupidity that she posted:

Pag sa Chinese ang luwag niyo no? Mula sa pag-agaw teritoryo natin hanggang sa mga Chinese drug lord. May nahuli na ba?

The place is turned into Chinatown. There are 300 hotels and resorts that were given notice to vacate but the Chinese were uncooperative. 

So you are lenient with the Chinese? From the Chinese seizing territory to Chinese drug lords. Have you caught any?

This makes me laugh for this reason. One, is Jover really even sure that the 300 hotels and resorts were illegal Chinese as she claims? Such an accusation could lead her to getting sued by libel by these establishments because it's a life threatening accusation -- then she will play the "press freedom" card like Maria Ressa does. Also, if a notice to vacate was given then it's highly possible it's an order to Prseident Duterte to ILLEGAL CHINESE. Then again, how sure is she that the 300 hotels and resorts are illegal operatives? What if they were only using Chinese characters because the owners were well... Filipino-Chinese? If she has observed -- some Filipino-Chinese owned establishments use Chinese characters too with ENGLISH TRANSLATIONS underneath.

Jover obviously has what may be deemed as selective amnesia. Just under whose term was Boracay not even closed and that businesses kept COMING IN? Rigoberto Tiglao even wrote an important expose that revealed that Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo actually made a move to save Boracay through rehabilitation -- something that Noynoy Aquino and Mar Roxas may have intentionally ignored. Also, how can 300 businesses in total be established in Boracay within just SIX MONTHS? It would take several years before a lot of these businesses would become THAT BIG and have customers. It was closed last 2018 and now it's 2019. Don't tell me those businesses just magically appeared! Noynoy himself refused to close Boracay and maybe those Chinese businesses got their permits that early.

For 300 businesses owned by Chinese to just appear like that is preposterous! Just where did her common sense go? Then again since when did she really have any common sense to start with? Her logic is screwed up. Also, if she's also into sinophobia then why did she even go to Taiwan? Also, aren't some of her bosses well Chinese by blood themselves?
