Amelita G. Tolentino May Be As Jail-Worthy As Judge Cha Moon Sook Of "Lawless Lawyer"

The Vizconde Massacre continues to be one of the most-elusive mysteries ever. Some people may praise Amelita G. Tolento or state witness Jessica Alfaro. Realizing that Hubert Webb was actually innocent all along changed my perception. I watched a few documentaries on Hubert's life. I watched Lawless Lawyer during the pandemic. There's a chance that the people of Studio Dragon caught wind of the Vizconde Massacre. Actress Lee Hye Young looks like Tolentino aside from playing monstrous roles Chances are Hye Young saw Tolentino's face BTS and said, "She looks like me! I hope my role will awaken people that courts aren't as infallible." Back then, Tolentino was JUDGE Tolentino. However, it seems she's just happily retired somewhere when I believe she should be in JAIL!

Watching Lawless Lawyer filled me with some rage and satisfaction. The satisfaction was in seeing Cha Moon Sook in JAIL -- where she BELONGS. However, Tolentino feels like she's not even getting any comeuppance for the moment -- especially with how she handled the Vizconde Massacre and made the relatives belive she got justice. What's sad is that Lauro Vizconde died without knowing the truth. As I was looking at the final scene where Atty. Bong Sang Pil and Atty. Lee Jae Yi visited Tolentino Moon Sook in jail -- the judge's unapologetic attitude is still adamant.

A recap of Lawless Lawyer gives this description of Cha's jail time:

Sang Pil and Jae Yi visit Cha Moon Sook in the prison. She asks them the reason for their visit. Jae Yi asks Cha how it feels to be a mere human being, now that she has finally left the bench. Cha asks Jae Yi if she has really left the bench. She says she has seen the faces of criminals for the past 40 years and judged them with her rulings. What Sang Pil and Jae Yi had done to her was stupid. Sang Pil disagrees by saying her greed and hypocrisy had driven many people to tragedy and that will make her face the law for those people. He says that as a human being she should’ve asked them for forgiveness and he says that he will give her a last chance. Judge Cha gets up to leave and she tells that both of them will eventually forgive her and that it’s them who will suffer if they don’t.

Once outside Jae Yi comments that Cha still thinks that the world revolves around her and Sang Pil says that she hasn’t lost power since she was born. He says that she isn’t aware of the extent of her own power.

The fact that Moon Sook fell down IN HER COURTROOM was something. The crime drama looks like it could easily get a Filipino adaptation. If so, please do the name judge as Amelita Tolentino! What would be interesting is Ramon Tulfo's description that Tolentino was a judge with a sense of self-importance. Added to it is that Teddy Benigno describes Tolentino as an arrogant person with a sinister aura. Moon Sook in Lawless Lawyer displayed those traits -- especially in the final scene. Moon Sook can be seen disarranging her desk in rage -- shortly after Atty. Bong uncovered her for the wicked witch she truly was.

Looking back at the Vizconde Massacre Trial -- it's really something that Tolentino even demanded the former US secretary of state, Madeleine Albright, to testify in court. Tolentino even rejected the evidence given to her. How can Tolentino be SURE that the video of Hubert in America was tampered with? Did Tolentino have the documents and the videos analyzed? What happened to the sperm sample that was collected from the late Carmela? Why was it suddenly gone? My speculation, though unproven, is that it belonged to one of Tolentino's henchmen. Tolentino was the REGIONAL TRIAL JUDGE of Paranaque at that time -- the same place where the massacre happened. It's possible that Tolentino denied Hubert's request for a DNA test because it could point to one of her henchmen. The sperm sample was possibly disposed of on PURPOSE. Tolentino may have secretly requested her connections at the NBI to have the sample destroyed. In the Philippines, a connection gets you farther than credibility most of the time. I don't believe it was just gone with the wind. It had to be destroyed and I believe Tolentino ORDERED IT. If so, Tolentino should be charged with TAMPERING OF EVIDENCE -- not just during the trial but after it!

Tolentino was suspiciously glued towards Jessica Alfaro -- who also suspiciously wore shades for a majority of her time in court. Was it to hide something with Jessica's eye movements? Was Jessica doing it at the ORDER OF THE JUDGE? It might be done to conceal that Jessica might be her HENCHWOMAN all along. Poor Lauro believed in Jessica's detailed testimony. Jessica was already a self-confessed drug addict. If I'm not wrong, Jessica shouldn't even be allowed to testify in court EVEN BY PHILIPPINE LAWS. However, a desperate public and a man seeking justice for his family were exploited. Jessica soon testified in court. It's too bad I can't analyze her testimony but I heard they were pretty inconsistent. Was Jessica promised freedom by TOLENTINO HERSELF if she could help the latter get a promotion? In short, there's a chance that the trial was RIGGED. Why did Tolentino choose to only listen to one side but not the other? That should get one suspicious -- even if the person isn't a law student!

There's a HUGE CHANCE that the Vizconde Massacre Trial was RIGGED. A rigged trial is when it's MANIPULATED or CONTROLLED by dishonest means. What other points can I point to the possibility of a rigged trial? Hubert and his co-accused were already declared GUILTY by the media before the court could do so. Tolentino may have been only after ratings and her promotion. If the people believe Hubert was guilty -- Tolentino might as well RIDE ON PUBLIC OPINION. People probably looked at Tolentino as a fair judge. The witnesses could perfectly "corroborate" with Jessica. Chances are Tolentino got the two maids who claimed to have washed the blood from Hubert's shirt. The two maids may have also been her own henchwomen or probably worked as her maids. Unlike Moon Sook, Tolentino got the position she desired at the Court of Appeals. With all the irregularities at the Vizconde Massacre Trial -- shouldn't Tolentino be charged with contempt of court or other related charges instead? Tolentino should be in MAXIMUM SECURITY JAIL for the rest of her life.
